CCW Christmas Carols on the Lawn
The Centre for Care & Wellbeing was delighted to host over 150 members of the community at Springvale Botanical Cemetery for Christmas Carols on the Lawn Sunday, 9 December 2018.
We were honoured to welcome back internationally acclaimed singer and actor, Michael Cormick who lead the concert accompanied by musical director David Cameron along with an ensemble of seven elite choristers.
A special thank you to Cherie Baxter our wonderful Music Therapist along with Alfred Whee who also joined the festivities for a special performance.
We are privileged to have held this special community Christmas concert as a gentle way to honour and celebrate life leading into the holiday season.
Christmas is a time for love, celebration and a feeling of ‘togetherness’. It’s a special time to meet with family and friends to enjoy the great traditions of Christmas time, including sharing moments in convivial musical activities. From favourite childhood songs, to the most beloved Yuletide carols, music has the power to connect us all.
